Distinction

Unlike most organizations, members of the Univesity Club consider themselves not only members, but owners. Everyone contributes in different but equal ways and all member/ owners benefit.

Member/Owner Benefits include:

rental space for social and/or professional needs

University Club dues are paid annually, per person for a regular membership. In addition, there is also a one-time initiation fee.

Nonmembers may be invited to all University Club functions. There is a charge for nonmembers, and this charge is always noted on the Calendar of Events and on special mailings.

Membership is open to all individuals who are 21 years or older. New members are nominated and seconded for membership by members of the Club who are in good standing. Completion of an application card and the approval of the Board of Directors is all that is required to join. Inquiries about obtaining a sponsor can be directed to a University Club member of one's acquaintance, or you may contact the Club Manager Leslie Whiting at 540-231-3870, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.
